5th of September 2019, marks the day that Coniston Public School launched their brand new kitchen designated in the Ganugan Permaculture Garden.
This kitchen supplements Coniston Public School's enriched garden that grows vegetables, herbs, bush tucker and fruits. To make this event even more exceptional, MP (local member of parliament) Sharon Bird came to the grand opening of this intriguing kitchen, which was funded by a grant given from her branch of government. Courtesy is given to Ms Perini, the garden ambassador and permaculture teacher, for organising this wonderful event and for writing the proposal for the grant in the first place. ”The garden is great and fun”.- Lily.
